Wild Ash Yakisugi
Wild Ash Yakisugi is a piece carved from a single block of solid wood. Without screws or joints, it is a solid piece. We love unique objects and we are sure that you do too. Because you are also unique, like each tree, with its own history and form. In our collection there are only unique pieces. We can also create and customize a piece especially for you upon request.
Carbonized Wood
This piece has an attractive and sustainable finish for wood called Shou-Sugi-Ban, or Yakisugi, an ancient japanese technique that consists of burning wood to improve its durability outdoor. “Yaki” means heating with fire and “Sugi” is the common name Japanese cedar. This technique protects the wood and gives it a very elegant and original finish.
